I got IP banned today from SRK for leaking this, but here it goes again:
Marvel VS Capcom 3 is getting announced in May of this year.
Super SF4 is coming to PC (dunno when, sorry).
Updated: This story doesn’t really pertain too much to the rumor but contains circumstantial evidence related to it. The administrator of shoryuken.com Mr. Wizard didn’t approve of my troll from August (where I leaked the Super SF4 character roster and basically the game itself). Wiz then got very very mad at me and deleted the thread, but because o of that The Street Fighter Blog (and then Eventhubs) picked up said story and basically it was immortalized, deleted thread about Super SF4 posted by longstanding member of the community etc, people had something juicy in a drought. The ensuing shitstorm (including Wizard deleting all threads related to this and getting mad at me on IRC along the lines of “you shouldn’t have opened your mouth”) 100% confirmed this list to be real (and it was!).
I was recently banned a couple days ago on IRC because… Mr. Wizard was mad at me again for god knows what reason. We were having a conversation about Seth’s level 2 Focus attack without him involved, and how it wasn’t faster in the final build (even though Mr. Wizard said it was) and my response to that was simply “Mr. Wizard isn’t the best player in the world, he probably isn’t an infallible source for a changelist”. He immediately banned me from IRC and then SRK (for leaking Secret Capcom Information). I tried to convince him through a medium that I had absolutely no idea the initial leak was real and he refused to believe me, not to mention he banned me practically half a year after the initial offense, after all the smoke had cleared and I wasn’t doing anything wrong. So if he’s going to be petty about something that was months dead, so was I:
So I leaked Marvel 3 announcement in May and Super SF4 for PC on the Shoryuken.com forums. This immediately led to my permanent IP ban and a very hasty thread deletion (justification: “ban”, that was it). There are multiple sources that confirm Marvel 3 in development, and Super SF4 PC was sorta leaked a while ago by some guy with a slippery tongue at some trade show (it’s quite well known in the games journalism circle though), but yeah it exists too. Wiz doesn’t seem to learn from the mistake of hiding evidence makes it look that much more suspicious so here I am. Who knows if anyone will learn a lesson, but I’m certainly done leaking information from now on.

This is definitely not intended as an April Fool’s Joke, but a rumor.
This is very pleasing news. However I don’t think you should outright stop leaking information. Thats one super perk of the internet. People love getting in the know before the know is known. I mean, you have this blog site here to post things. Mr. Wizard sounds like an egotistical, arrogrant prick and no one should be intimidated by his bigotry wizardry. I thank you for having the guts to post news and I wish you would not stop. I still await more scandal you may discover.

They should do the background music work like they did in X-men vs Street Fighter(during gameplay)
For SF Character they should add Gen(Replacing Dan), Rolento(Replacing Charlie or Guile), Guy, Juri & Gouken to the roster plus 1 or 2 character from 3rd Strike & 2 characters from Mega Man = Zero(replacing MegaMan), they should also add Geki just like in Capcom vs SNK 2 they added Eagle(as his 2nd Appearance) to the roster
For Marvel they should add Whiplash(Replacing Thanos) , The Thing(Replacing Colossus) Deadpool(Replacing Cable), & Green Goblin(Replacing Shuma Gorath) to the Roster
And it should have SF4 Engine(Focus Attack, Ex Special Moves) also the controls should be like this(R3 or L3 to switch characters, Press L3 + R3 together for Team Super, R1 + R2 or L1 + L2 for Character Assist Attack), Also since every character has super jump, Rolento’s super jump(the one where he jumps with more distance) should switch this command to tap Down, Forward/Back Up
For Super & Ultra it should be like this for example
Gambit
Super(can be canceled into another super with another characters, or can perform team super): Royal Flush
Ultra(can not canceled into another ultra with another characters, or cannot perform team super): Cajun Explosion
I heard straight from the horses mouth at EVO2K8. I was also told that this would not initially be available in the U.S.. So if rumor holds true, then a year and half to two years release date would make sense in May 2010 – or shortly thereafter. Either way, I’m glad I live here in Japan:}

Also they should tweak Ken’s 3D Model face/hair work from street fighter IV to make it look more like the 3rd Strike Drawing, & they should change Akuma’s color/fighting stance from SFIV to SF Alpha

The game announcer should sound more like the X-men vs Street Fighter

So you want him to play like a mix between Strider (Wall climbing, etc.) and Ibuki from SF3? And Invincible? That’s a little much, what would cause random invincibility for a ninja? Good thinking though. Geki and the other SF1 characters would be AWESOME additions. I’ve been waiting for a Retsu, Lee, or Geki revival.

Henaki, don’t stop leaking information just because some jerk banned you from a site. Being banned isn’t even a big deal, you can come back over and over. But by stopping what you do because of what he did means that you allowed him to govern your actions and that’s putting yourself down. Don’t put yourself down for anybody.
One of the New X-men characters from New X-men (2nd series) need to make it in this sequel also Warlock from the New Mutants
Honestly, don’t take characters out or replace anyone. Take the 56 from MVC2 and expand. With the dual layer DVD’s ad Blu-ray’s that PS3 and XB360 use, they could just add a LOT more information; i.e. characters, stages, storyline, etc. I also think that the game should stay sprite based. I love that look and feel. I also think the gameplay should stay true to the series. No Super/Ultra SF4 thing, or parrying like SF3. The Vs. series is all it’s own.

He said the PC version exists (of course it does, the engine is identical to vanilla and that’s the only part that needs porting), not that it’s being released. They could have released it ages ago but they prefer to make us wait.
